Abdominal pain after IVF-normal?
Question:
It was 5-6 days after retrieval before my cramps stopped. Yes, cramping is normal Shobey – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – My husband and I are attempting our second IVF (ICSI). Three embryos were transferred on May 6th. I experienced abdominal pain starting on the evening after the transfer, and recurring frequently in the next 5 days. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks, Anja

<<Three embryos were transferred on May 6th. I experienced abdominal pain starting on the evening after the transfer, and recurring frequently in the next 5 days. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Yes, I’ve experienced uterine cramping for about 6 out of 8 transfers. For me, it usually happens when transfer/catheter insertion is rather difficult (…which is most of the time, for me), and lasts for about 4-7 days. -Kay (please…no chain letters or mailing lists)
