Question:

I have had Chronic abdominal pain for 17 months, and have had every test under the sun. My knew Dr. has diagnosed me with IBS. From my reading it has seemed only partly likley, as I have not noticed any differences in my stool. However, this week I have felt a bit sick to my stomach, and have had diarria. I have not had a problem with it in the last 17 months, and never in my life had it for more than a few days. Is it normal having stomach sickness with a bout of diarria? Russell

Well, I think the first thing is to just wait this out a little longer to make sure it’s not a virus.  It would probably be beneficial to go light with the diet and treat your stomach as though it is a virus or stomach flu for a few days.  See if that helps first.
