As Jennifer said, there are no standard first signs, they are different for everyone. For me, they were a sudden feeling of numbness in one half of my body, with a slurring of speech. Hi there, Its hard to say what the first symptoms are since every person has experienced different symptoms. Perhaps describing ur problems would help all of us be able to offer some advice My symptoms were, numbness, weakness in my leg, painful tight muscles, fatigue,. and a bit of a vision disturbance (blurred vision/double vision)                    Jen

some of the things i been having trouble with are, weakness , jerking in hands and feet. sometimes other places too, can’t sleep, sometimes trembling in hands, i cant raise my left arm up and i haven’t hurt my arm, been going to physical therapy for it, but still isn’t helping, have and appointment with neurologist in a few weeks, also around the same time this started happening i started having abdominal pain, they have done lots of test on me now they are sending me to the neurologist, also the last few days been having kinda a burning sensation in different parts of my body, kinda like when you do a cat scan and they put the dye in your viens it feels warm as it goes through that is kinda what it feels like, Anju
