I could feel the pain even in my sleep. I woke up at around 6a.m OMT, and discovered that as far as I can make out, it was easier to look for bits that weren’t hurting. I did think about having some of that generic Ibuprofen I bought a few weeks ago from Tesco’s, but that way insanity lies. Sometimes it is possible to nullify pain somewhat by thinking about nooky – the endorphins and so forth. Well, I’m up and about now, and maybe the stiff joints etc will limber up, as they would not have got any exercise while I was asleep. I defy doctors etc. I will heal myself. Somehow. Why have you got neck/shoulder pain? I have atrocious back pain at the minute, which is why I’m writing posts to this newsgroup instead of what I should be doing, which is being out on the terrace gloating at my bougainvillea. This back pain is caused by a combination of (a) adopting ill-advised semirecumbent wanking position, (b) being overweight but now I’m on a diet which is basically just eating anything crunchy and green and being hungry all the time and I’m now down to below 100k which is something I suppose, (c) being middle-aged (i.e. old) and (d) not having played football since I was 9.
