Shoulder pain
Question:
I am a little older than 14 but I have also experienced pain in my neck/shoulder area during my runs. It’s more like a stiffness and sometimes it interrupts my run.
Easy one. You are too tense in your arms and shoulders while running. Relax. Shoulders should swing easy; elbows relaxed but locked in place; hands/wrists very relaxed (I saw someone suggest holding a potato chip between thumb and index finger while running without breaking it; my coach always said imagine holding a butterfly while running between thumb and index finger) Jennifer

I’m a young runner, only 14, but I have had problems with my shoulder in the past. It slips in and out of place very easily. The ain has just gotten wrose in the past few months. I was wondering if any other runners have this problem with shoulder pain
See your doctor to see if you are suspectible to shoulder dislocations. This could happen while you are merely sleeping. Bob
